Given I have a notoriously black thumb when it comes to gardening, I’m impressed by the hibiscus I planted several months ago. It was a tiny, wee thing then, and quite sad-looking. It was just $2, and I didn’t think it had much chance of survival. But I felt badly for it so brought it home. Now look at it!
