I align left of center on nearly every topic, I have never once voted for a Republican president, and I have an incredibly hard time understanding how people can support Trump. That said - some of the most loving, caring, selfless people I have ever known are conservatives, and some of the most judgmental, arrogant & condescending people I have ever known are liberals. The idea that being left of center automatically makes you morally superior to half of the population is a garbage narrative.
