Based on initial reports, it seems most likely that this was apolitical. Another mentally ill, white male loner, angry and isolated, who wanted to “strike back” at society in a loud and public way. He wanted to be seen when he did this, so he picked a location/target that would get him the most media coverage. It could just as easily been Biden, another school, or some large event. Yet more gun violence is what this is. Too many guns, too many untreated mentally sick people.
