He mentioned people calling Trump a threat to democracy but omitted the Trump supporters who attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband, or the Trump supporters who plotted the murder of Gretchen Whitmer, or the Trump supporters who tried to overthrow a democratically elected government. The attempted murder of a candidate won’t change the behaviour on the right, so the left has to keep its foot on the gas. Don’t stop campaigning. Don’t stop advertising. Don’t show sympathy.
