Yesterday, I attended the White Coat Ceremony of my niece, who started medical school today. It’s a tradition that new med students get a white lab coat their names. I couldn’t help but notice the number of young women. I later found out that 55% of the class is female. Amazing.

22 天內	Paul Lieberman discon1948	Biggest change I saw in my entire legal career was the number of women. When I started in 1976 at Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn (as a paralegal going to law school at night) each of the 5 units of 20-25 lawyers had 1 or 2 women. By the time I retired in 2019, women were a clear majority of the PDs at the various offices in the city. As you say, amazing.
