I am so annoying about this, I admit it. I love finding TV shows that pretend to be American but were filmed 100% in Canada, with 95% Canadian cast members (hello fellow abooters 😂) with various southern Ontario landmarks I know well pretending to be a multitude of US states and cities. The best is when they pretend to “go to Canada” so they can have at least one day of shooting where they don’t have to hide metric signs and strategically frame the background buildings. 🤣 1/2

幾秒內	Carolyn Lisle peridragon_designs	Best examples: I saw a yarn store I know in Newmarket on an episode of Warehouse 13. They didn’t even hide the sign! I know the exact place in a conservation area near Toronto where on Covert Affairs they pretended to be in Poland/Belarus. Basically all the “Ivy League” buildings on shows like Warehouse 13 are actually the downtown University of Toronto campus. On Star Trek SNW when they go to Toronto in “2040”, child Khan is actually in the Royal Ontario Museum, near the fossil exhibit. 2/2
