If you’re making plans to leave this country if shit turns south in November, call yourself what it is. A MIGRANT. An IMMIGRANT. A REFUGEE. You are NOT an expat. In fact, that term should be thrown out and not used anymore. It’s entitled and elitist and only specifies one group of people, white people. The ones who LOVE calling Latinos coming into their countries anything BUT expat. Also, maybe consider Europe over Latin countries when moving. Just a thought.
