For the most part the people are fabulous and scenery in the USA is fabulous. The politics are not so great- the fact that there is so much back stabbing and lying. Repressive tactics towards women, allowing monetary means to get votes and power is abhorrent. Allowing religion to enter politics and allowing those convicted of a crime to run for president. That’s just bad - not to mention supreme judges should only have a maximum time on the bench and picked with no political affiliation.

They are to busy worrying about how to make more money than to pay attention to what actually matters. The greed factor is just to much

My thought is something along the lines of “are you ok America? You seem to be struggling, can we get you some help”

It’s as if the United States is surrounded by one way mirrors. The rest of the world can look in, and while it might be hazy, we get the general idea of what is going on. While Americans look out and say “Hey, everyone is just like us!”. Then the Americans are constantly shocked that non Americans think/feel/behave differently than themselves.

I feel like many American’s are so unaware of how the world functions outside of their country that it’s scary. The country as a whole seems very self-centred.

Americans are very arrogant. We Canadians have always lived in their shadows which probably has led us to be more aware of the world and its surroundings. Americans it seems have always lived in a fairy tale of the America that was sold to them. America is free and bountiful which many americans have taken for granted. 11% have never crossed their state line which is more than the population of Canada and 54% have visited 10 states or less. They have no knowledge of anyone but themselves.
