So many books will say they have no third act breakup and then have either zero interesting tension or will have basically a third act separation where they don’t fully break up but they kind of do and it would just be better to lean into it. Conflict makes stories interesting, but you can also write interesting romances without a breakup that still have conflict (Beach Read???)
