As someone who also works in childcare, make the call. There’s a weight with being a mandated reporter but you have a responsibility to protect those kids. To give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they don’t know of many healthy or nutritious vegan recipes yet and need that guidance, but I would definitely make the call
