In 2017, I was banned from a dating app because a user reported my account for racism. I remember getting the account/guidelines and seeing my “violation” highlighted. My violation? On my profile I had: “Preference for those with melanin, it’s just easier that way”. This was when I knew these platforms and those who moderate them are generally not fond of “visible minorities”. 🤷🏽‍♀️
