We bought Wife a new laptop in 2020 at Staples. The store's records reflect my e-mail address rather than hers, but when they set up the McAfee security, they used her e-mail address. This spring McAfee sent an email to my address advising the the software license was up for renewal (it wasn't), but I apparently renewed it anyway. Now we find that she has two McAfee contracts - one under my e-mail address, and one under hers. And McAfee refuses to cancel the redundant contract.

That's fine except that the contract set up by Staples includes tech support from the store - which Wife needs to deal with malware that she gets from following rando links on FB.
