The story for the first game introduces the player to Starfy. A young cute and clumsy prince who was organizing stuff in the Pufftop Kingdom. Pufftop is very high in the sky, while organizing, he accidentally drops a vase and it falls through the clouds. A storm occurs causing tremors in the sky and Stafy falls into the ocean. The adventure has him making new friends and finding his way home.
