I opened my city’s first (& still only) fully vegan cafe, & it was not at all hard to create a menu with MORE options & at lower price than many cafe around us (in a busy tourist town no less). We have been open 1 year & are now taking over the store opposite to open another food business - different cuisine, again fully vegan, menu is varied & fun, was zero stress for me to create. If I can do this (aged mid 20s with zero formal culinary education) then other places can definitely do better.

A restaurant doesn't have to offer vegan meals if the owners don't want to and if you don't like it then it's tough shit for you

Unpopular opinion but italian restaurants should offer indian and colombian dishes. What a restaurant has to offer is up to the chef. If you don’t like what the chef is offering, go to another restaurant.

I believe that is the choice of the establishment and you don't have the right or authority to demand that your preferences are catered for. Spectacularly entitled post. If there isn't a decent selection of vegan options at a restaurant, pick one that DOES offer a vegan menu. It really is that simple.
