I don’t know who needs to hear this today but whatever breed of dog you’re looking for, whatever temperament you’re looking for, whatever size, color, age, etc … is currently sitting in a shelter or at a rescue waiting to be adopted. You don’t have to buy from a breeder just to get exactly what you want in a dog. I won’t shame someone for doing it, but I very rarely hear valid reasons.
