I remember going to a prenatal course when I was pregnant with my first child. On the final day of the class, we were asked by the instructor to give our feedback verbally. I tried to speak a bit of German but unfortunately used the word "fröhlich“ incorrectly, and others laughed at me. I was so embarrassed; it felt like a painful stab in my chest. Anyway, maybe they didn’t mean it. Perhaps it was just a natural reaction? 🤷‍♀️
