If you look carefully, in this artefact the artist engraved sea waves, a boat and a person on its surface - back in the Bronze Age. I am fascinated by the pictograms from primitive history - and often wonder about the will to express and create beauty, tell a story or invent a narrative being one of the main things that makes us human. It’s this universal, yet contemporary gestural vocabulary that inspires my next solo show in collaboration with the Bernabò Brea archeological museum. Stay tuned!
