Finally caught the little mouse! It's taken 3 days. The cat was sitting totally focussed on a corner of the breakfast room and when I pulled back a couple of things, there was my mouse! The trap didn't get utilised, just used a glass and a piece of plastic and I have now liberated him into the thickest undergrowth in the garden. He scuttled off under some leaves, once he got his bearings and didn't look to have suffered any physical trauma from his captivity. 😁
