I was 4 when I was officially diagnosed with “crazy horse girl syndrome.”
I had been begging my mom to take me riding. She convinced this stable to just let me come ride a lead line horse. I got on, we started walking, and I put my hands out at my sides and tilted my head back with a big grin. The instructor turned to my mom & said “Uh oh. You’ve got a real horse girl on your hands.”
At least that’s what my mom told me happened.
