TRUTH!! So frustrating. I usually just say “Okay, you win… your life officially sucks more than mine,” in a joking way and drop the topic altogether. That usually gets the message across without being mean, because I laugh when I say it… but it always immediately makes the other person backpedal! Just some of my psychology training! 🤣
