The breeder should take it back.

If he came from a breeder, he should go back and they should rehome. If he came from somewhere else, you could contact a poodle rescue group in your area.

I'd contact a rescue, especially if there is a poodle rescue around. They may have a waiting list for people who would love a pup like that. Or, Petfinder, I think, has a way you could list pup there. But I would try for a rescue, as they are going to vet the applicant. I know rescues can be a pain, but it's your baby, and you want to know they will be going to a good home. I don't know what the issues you have are. I hope you can get it straightened out and also that you are not in any danger.

Use a reputable rescue or no kill humane society where they will vet possible adopters for you.

Vet tech here 👋 my BIGGEST word of advice is: make sure you check vet references of who you’re giving him to (call their vet’s office of previous/current pets & see if they’re up to date on vaccines & spayed/neutered, etc) AND make sure he’s neutered prior if he isn’t already…… if he’s a purebred poodle people may want him for breeding purposes & that’s never where you want your dog to end up. Remember, you ultimately want him to end up in a FOREVER home, not another place to rehome him ;)
