I saw Dweezil Zappa this past weekend. Awesome, really fun show. He plays just like his dad and was even using the Gibson SG that Frank himself played on the Roxy & Elsewhere shows. Highlight of the night, though, was when I got there: Door person: “Will you be drinking tonight?” Me: “Maybe.” *reach for my ID* Door person: “No need, here’s your wristband.” Me: “Was it my grey beard?” Door person: “No, the demo for this show is *so old* that I just stopped bothering.” Harsh but fair.
