Depends on health. I’m taking care of an 80 year old friend who I definitely consider elderly. She’s handicapped and legally blind. Meanwhile my 81 year old sister is NOT elderly and still works out at the gym 3 times a week and can travel and take care of herself better than most 50 year olds.

Elderly is 65 if it results in receiving a senior discount or benefit. Otherwise, elderly is age+20(+).

75? Although I'm not sure the term is still relevant. As a (59yr old) Welshman I get my concessionary Wales travel pass next year but don't get a State Pension until age 67. I think the emphasis these days is more on supporting those in poor health than arbitrary ages thus "the vulnerable" appears a better catch-all.

Depends on your present age. 60’s…. Can’t imagine 75! In your 70’s, 80 sounds really old! 80’s? 90- 100 is ancient!
