Then don’t try to be it’s a second by second and day by day process. The race isn’t given to the swift or strong but to those who ENDURE to the end

Good thing that Jesus finished it on the cross. And he doesn’t require us to be a perfect Christian

We’re not called to be perfect. We’re called to depend on the Holy Spirit as He leads and guides us.

That's because you're trying to be something that doesn't exist and something that God didn't ask you to be.

Just be Imani. God created you perfectly.

That’s your problem, trying; there is a perfection in Christ that is achievable, by sanctification. You alone cannot do anything, but God alone can do Everything. Give your pain and your sorrows to him, Pray unceasingly, ask for him to help you in living a sinless life. Sanctification is a lifelong process but by the end we will be like crown jewels for his Glory. “I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them.” Zechariah 13:9

Can’t be perfect, we can only strive to be holy as He is Holy

Why try to be perfect? As I was struggling with feeling unworthy, while reading the Bible God showed me that no Bible character was perfect. Only Jesus was perfect. Yet God used all these imperfect people to do His work. If tomorrow you are better than who you were yesterday, you are on the right path.
