Some GLP-1 agonists with their half-lives (HLs): - Exenatide (Byetta): 2.4 hours - Liraglutide (Victoza): 13 hours - Lixisenatide (Lixumia): 3-4 hours - Semaglutide (Ozempic, Rybelsus): ~1 week - Dulaglutide (Trulicity): ~4 days - Tirzepatide (Mounjaro): ~5 days A med is considered to be cleared after 5 HLs (a month in the case of many of these meds!), so before elective surgery, some might be held for a month.
