Unpopular Bridgerton opinion: I REFUSE to believe that Penelope was pregnant pre-Butterfly ball. (I don’t care that Jess Brownell said it 😆) She was NOT telling Colin she was pregnant in this scene. ⬇️ if she did, it would have definitely come up in the anullment/second love confession conversation she and Colin have post-LW reveal. It was just an odd directing choice. Argue with the wall ✌🏼💞

9 小時內	Emily B notacrnflkgrl	I see I'm in the minority here 😅. I think she is. I feel like this is the way to "announce" it with these two. It's not going to be flashy. Also, I'm convinced that Violet is mouthing "pregnant" as she's reading the letter. Additionally, you do have some gaps in time between the first time and this scene which would make it plausible for her to know by now. Lastly, I feel like this scene is her fighting for herself, as well as them as a future family.

If Penelope got pregnant during the mirror scene, she would only be about a month behind Prudence and Phillipa pregnancy wise... but at the butterfly ball, Prudence and Phillipa already have little baby bumps. And then, in the 'epilogue', baby bridgerton is maybe 1 month old-6 weeks old while the baby girls look closer to 5-6 months old.
