Today is the 25th anniversary of Wide Angle being released in the UK. 25 years ago!!!?! Holy shit. That's terrifying. The album that kicked off our careers and took us all over the globe.⁣ ⁣ It had such a big impact on our future and was written with no expectation of doing anything other than getting a vinyl copy for our record collections. Just pure naïve passion and youthful idealism with little regard for whether anyone would actually listen to it.⁣

幾秒內	H Y B R I D hybridbanduk	Lots of firsts happened for me, Chris and Lee making this album, First full length LP, first time hearing an orchestra play our music, the first time being held up by a Russian taxi driver, first time drinking black vodka on the deserted top floor of a hotel with ex KGB security at 6am. Some first were a bit better than others..⁣ ⁣ Happy 25th Anniversary Wide Angle and raising a glass to the magnificent Julee Cruise who was so lovely to us and gave us the story and the soul of the album. x
