I, uh, just found an enormous spider in my kitchen while prepping Tatume squash (the aged to winter squash variety) to roast and make puree. I'm afraid the spider will either jump at me or find a new hiding spot if I touch it, so I'm still roasting squash, keeping one eye on the spider. If the spider moves, I won't have a choice, so I'm putting on sneakers.
