Well it wasn’t for me, but lots of people love those movies and books. I think fantasy books are one of those things in entertainment that you either love passionately or it does nothing for you.

The worst take on the internet

I hate that this site is just fishing for engagement. I’m not even a LOTR fan but literally no one thinks those movies are bad. The last one won best picture. This is so dumb.

I wouldnt go as far to say they’re trash but i have to agree LOTR glacers are the worst of them all. The movies were good but the fans have you believe its the best trilogy in existence. So let me add another UNPOPULAR opinion thats gonna ruffle some feathers: The Hobbit trilogy is a far more enjoyable watch then the LOTR trilogy

Yeah that’s pretty much the definition of an unpopular opinion. No judgement here, I’ve got plenty of unpopular opinions, but this a hard disagree for me. I rewatched them recently fully expecting them not to hold up, and though some parts felt dated, I came away thinking I under appreciated them if anything.
