Ex-deloitte consulting (hiring manager) - if you are new grad, we usually recruit from target schools and there are certain GPA thresholds (3.7+) to pass the system. For experienced hires, we look at past experience in PM, strategy, business development from industries or poach people from other consulting firms. Make sure you tailor your resume by job posting. I have seen people using the same resume and applying 10+ jobs within the firm, that's an auto-reject for me😀
