One thing I’ve realised since switching from hormonal contraception, which effectively stopped my periods for several years, to non-hormonal contraception, where I now have a regular cycle, is just how much extra money I’m now having to fork out each month buying tampons, simply for the pleasure of being born with a female reproductive system and not wanting the bleed through 🫣
