Congratulations to my mum, who managed to attract ducks to her garden while living in an inner-suburb of a capital city, surrounded by neighbours with concrete gardens filled with discarded car parts. I’m not much of a gardener but I assume this is kind of a win for my mum, not so much for the ducks who have lost their habitat.
