To those saying “oh it only affects those with 100m in the bank:” it would also apply to hedge funds, medium sized funds manage over 100m often. So it would affect most people with investments. Further, it makes it incredibly costly for selling off assets. Basically if you’re Walmart you would desperately want this to pass, as people would now have a massive penalty for selling off the assets. Every single large incumbent would reap massive benefits.
