For real. One of the things to make peace with is that friends aren't fans or customers & the real litmus test of whether you're on the right track really is complete strangers. Given how SM works, it'd be easier to reach the strangers if the people you know would just hit the like button (seriously, they do see it & it costs nothing) so starting a business or artistic venture it really becomes clear who your friends really are and who, as this lady carefully puts it, are just people you know.
