"Bokeh" comes from the Japanese word "boke", which means "blur". The term is used to describe an effect in photography where certain areas, such as the background, are out of focus. When lights are present in these out of focus areas, they often look like orbs or circles. Painters started creating this effect via different techniques to provide depth, interest and sometimes even an ethereal vibe to their pieces. Looking forward to sharing this tutorial on my YouTube channel, very soon! 🌟💕
