Something I've noticed online in the last little while is the term trigger warning but then no explanation as to what the triggers might be. So for those who may not know - a trigger warning is generally followed by a brief description of what could be triggering in the post (e.g. alcoholism, death, graphic images). Just saying trigger warning doesn't actually help anyone avoid topics they may not want to see 🩷
