Now that I’m in nursing school and looking back on all the “nursing school is hard” people 😭 YALL NEED TO STOP DOING THAT .Nursing school is NOT hard if you are SMART and have GOOD study habits. Y’all need to tell people it’s TIME CONSUMING NOT HARD. And if it was so hard to you don’t reflect YOUR experience to someone. Don’t get me wrong it’s demanding but the WORK? I feel like people tell other people it’s hard instead of encouraging words to keep them in their same position. NurseThreads

Tons of information is thrown at you along with keeping your all of your grades above a 78% average. And like you said, tons of busy work. Nursing school isn’t for the weak.
11 小時內	its_nassia	I see your point of view but I think if you really look at the definition of hard, nursing school fits under that category. You don’t have to be smart to get it either. Many people that master the theory struggle with clinicals and vice versa. Beyond school and the NCLEX, the real test is in the field! I don’t think anything really prepares you for that.

14 小時內	Gena Williams g_porter485	I did it twice as a entry level nurse and then RN. Both times it was hard and had to command all of my time. I don’t go around trying to discourage anyone from nursing school, but I also don’t lull anyone into believing it’s a cake walk.

The way those exams are set up and the questions that are being asked is not your ordinary questions. You have to learn to be a critical thinker. Also don’t have people thinking that it’s super easy either, because they will come into the program thinking that way and fail out the first semester. So yes, nursing school is hard but it’s doable😌

20 小時內	BIGMAMA FR 😮‍💨 773dri	It’s not hard to you but to a lot of ppl it is. & not just academically hard. It being time consuming is hard on a woman like me w/ kids, a job & a family. I do tell ppl it’s hard but I also tell them I love it & it’s gonna be worth it in the ends.
