I’m in a group with other Gen-Xers, and they asked how many years you *really* attended school. I kinda forget what an abnormal teen experience I had until I need to think about these kind of questions. My answer; Technically 9 years, but more realistically closer to 7 years. I skipped school A LOT grades 8-9. I was kicked out when I was 15, and worked FT while my mom attempted to homeschool me and failed. Then I took the GED test when I was 16, and went straight to vocational college.
