One question I get pretty frequently (and yes, I do actually get asked this), is “How did you get ____ to come on your show?” There’s a lot that goes into it really, but if I were to simplify it, I’d say it comes down to the boldness to ask, the persistence to ask again, and the professionalism to gracious and patient in the meantime.
