I got cheated on. It wasn’t a one time thing but recurring and with more than one person. It was probably one of the worst pains I’ve felt. It left me vulnerable and questioning myself. Life does hit hard when you realize the person that you trusted the most is capable of causing the deepest pain. And the harsh reality is: that sometimes, despite how much you invest in someone, they simply won’t value or reciprocate your feelings. You really gotta fend for yourself.
