For those sick people laughing at Gus Walz, I’m sorry your parents didn’t tell you they loved you. To have your beloved father tell an auditorium how much you are loved- I cried just listening. Gus Walz is cherished, loved, and will never lack support when he needs it. I’m sorry you didn’t have that.

The unhealthiest, least resiliant men see emotion as a weakness; mentally and physically they are harmed by this toxic masculinity. I think it is projection. Gus loves his Dad, his Dad loves him. I’m sad that so many people see that as abnormal rather than what should be the standard.
