I was looking for something this morning and serendipitously came across a hand-written recipe from my mom for date nut bread. It’s a recipe my grandma started making in the 1950s when my mom was a little girl and was one of her favorites. When she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she asked me frequently to make this recipe for her and I did as often as I could. I haven’t made it since my mom died, but I think it’s one of several signs I’ve recently received from her. ❤️‍🩹 Grief Threads
