I finished the audiobook version of Blood At The Root today and my goodness. It was so beautifully written/narrated, so many emotions, culture, history, affirmations, and over attention to detail. As a Haitian American I was definitely proud & learned some things. The homage paid throughout the book to Black Peoples ancestral African roots left me speechless… Well done @itsladarrion well done. 💙 I cried at the end 🥹. I cannot wait for book 2+!!
