Ummm What who thinks that? When I first moved in with my now husband we both worked fulltime and we split bills 50/50. He earns significantly more than I did, so he paid for most of the extra stuff, outings etc. Later when we were saving for stuff, my money paid for the bills and everything and we saved his entire wage for holidays, our wedding. Now we have a 1yo. I work 15 hours a week, my money is mine. He still contributes to the house work and is an equal parent.
