Extremist views, especially ones that have the ricochet action of demonising a group or groups of people shows nothing but a lack of willingness to hold more than one idea at once, a cognisant refusal to be a compassionate & empathetic human, is borne of a need to not feel as if one is insignificant/powerless & can more often than not be traced back to trauma.
