I’ve been off work for 6 months, on disability and the reality that I will never hold a normal job again is sinking in. It’s fucking terrifying. The disability I’m on now is enough money to survive but it only lasts 3 years…I’m basically retired at age 49 without any real savings. And a sole parent. I’m constantly trying to work out how to make a living…
