View from the other side of the table: Had an interview once where the CEO was a cross between David Brent and Wolf from Gladiators.. Spent the whole interview boasting about himself and how he ran the office. Didn't ask me a single question. Didn't want the role but when I asked for feedback, the recruiter said "He really liked you". And I thought: how would he know?

I once went to an interview where the store manager who made the appointment was 45 minutes late because she took her lunch break, she ignored the calls from her staff. When she finally arrives back in the store she begins to eat her lunch while interviewing me. Then tells me she plans on hiring 10 people and giving them 1-2 days of training. She offered me a job so long as my references panned out. I told her it wasn’t necessary as I wouldn’t be taking the job and left. 6 months later she 1/2

I interviewed a woman last month for a job with hours Tuesday-Saturday. When asked if she had any questions, she replied "how long before I can take Saturdays off?". Um...nope.

I purposely bombed an interview once. I show up 10 minutes early for the interview. Store is closed but employees are getting ready for the day. I figured the manager wanted to get the interview out of the way before there were customers made sense. I knock on the door for 5 minutes and the manager sees me ignores me.
