It truly breaks my heart to see the turn for the worst that’s happening in black salons. Leadership is almost nonexistent and the standard of professionalism and excellence is diminishing. We, as salon owners, have to bring back a positive salon experience. Stylists, you’re going to have to lean into wanting a real foundation and learn from people more experienced than you so your business can actually be sustainable and grow.
