Having someone put trust and faith in you is a powerful thing. Then again, being trustworthy, reliable and inspiring takes its own hard work in the first place. It’s a bit of a ‘chicken or the egg’ scenario, but I surely know that the support of great mentors goes a long way in cementing one’s success.
