It's so hard. If someone is a total MAGA nut deep in the cult and obsessed with Trump, no way. But if someone casually mentions they plan to vote for Trump, sure. Especially if they are open to discussing politics respectfully together. I live in a purple state and it's a 50/50 chance anyone I meet could be voting for the orange idiot
